Ear Wax Removal Service

Hear Clearly Again

Blocked ears can be uncomfortable and frustrating, often affecting hearing, balance, and everyday activities. Our professional ear wax removal service offers a fast, safe, and effective solution delivered conveniently from your local pharmacy, helping you feel comfortable and hear clearly again.

Why Choose Ear Wax Removal at Our Pharmacy

Choosing our pharmacy means quick access to care without long waiting times or the need for a GP referral. The service is delivered by trained and experienced practitioners in a private consultation room, ensuring comfort, discretion, and professional care. It is also a cost-effective alternative to private clinics, making high quality ear care more accessible.

What the Service Includes

The service begins with a full ear health assessment to ensure it is safe and appropriate for you. Approved ear wax removal methods are then used to gently and effectively clear wax build up. Many patients notice an immediate improvement in hearing. You will also receive personalised advice on ear care and preventing future wax build up, along with referral guidance if further medical assessment is needed.

Who the Service Is For

This service is suitable for adults experiencing blocked or full ears, reduced hearing due to wax builds up, or discomfort and ringing linked to ear wax. Every patient is assessed before treatment to ensure the service is safe and suitable for their individual needs.

Why More People Are Choosing Pharmacies

Community pharmacies are trusted healthcare providers offering flexible appointments, shorter waiting times, and professional care close to home. As access to GP services becomes more limited, pharmacies are increasingly the preferred choice for convenient, reliable ear wax removal services.

The Pharmacy First service builds on the NHS Community Pharmacist Consultation Service which has run since October 2019. The consultation service enables patients to be referred into community pharmacy for a minor illness or an urgent repeat medicine supply.
